The same thing happened to me!! Gerhard Schurz has highlighted results from the regret-based learning framework of Cesa-Bianchi that there is a meta-inductive strategy that is predictively optimal among all predictive methods that are accessible to an epistemic agent (Cesa-Bianchi & Lugosi 2006; Schurz 2008, forthcoming).
